Hair, the crowning glory or the unruly mop, it’s the one area of personal style that we all want to get right. Good haircuts are really pretty non-negotiable as far as I’m concerned. Good hair days really do put a spring in your step, bad ones can make you sometimes not want to leave the house. What are the Benefits of Doing a 15 Minute Workout?
15 minute workouts are a great addition to a fitness regime. Working out for just 15 minutes can give you such a boost both physically and mentally. It can also be a very effective use of workout minutes: a short sharp burst of activity such as Tabata or HIIT will ensure a great calorie burn which continues for up to 24 hours after the workout. 15 minutes of spot-training a particular area of the body will definitely show results if done consistently. The ‘M’ word – Menopause. Not exactly readily discussed, either online or in the real world. It’s my belief that until all those glamorous thirty-something mum bloggers have fast-forwarded 20 years, their gorgeous tots morphed into gangly, awkward teens who are less instagram-friendly, and they themselves start to feel the effects of peri-menopausal hormone-withdrawal, will we really get attention lavished on the subject. I’ve searched through numerous blog posts and simply can’t find any ’10-top tips’ or ‘The Best way to Manage Your Menopause. I’m sure they exist, and there is information out there of course. It just does not seem to be a very cool topic (no pun intended for those of us feeling the heat at inconvenient times) So, I decided to produce a post about the menopause myself. (more…)
